A little about me.

I was born and raised in London where I work as a freelance photojournalist. My work is regularly published in the Evening, Daily, Sunday newspapers and magazines here in the UK, Europe, and worldwide, as well as also being published in several books.

News by its very nature is constantly changing, sometimes by the minute. My journey takes  me all over London's 32 boroughs, reacting to and covering breaking news stories and features across the busy 659 plus square miles (1,706 Sq Km), which makes my job so challenging and interesting.  The work I do also brings me into contact with some very interesting people from all walks of life!   I have a particular interest and passion in politics, policing, and civil liberties, the latter which were eroded heavily by the former Labour Government, led by Tony Blair and then Gordon Brown.

I work alone, as well as in partnership with a  journalist and have covered an endless array of interesting stories. This includes the endless teenage murders that have continued to dominate the newspaper headlines, TV, and radio broadcasts over the last few years.  Working on such stories often puts me in direct and close contact with the families and friends of those who have lost their loved ones in such awful tragic circumstances. Most recently the parents of Jimmy Mizen who was murdered in 2008 very close to his SE London home. I was the first British photojournalist allowed inside the London home occupied by squatters of Saif Gaddafi one of the son's of Colonel Muammar Gaddafi the current Libyan leader.

I travel frequently to the United States of America, where I have interests on both the East and West coasts.  I have a home in Las Vegas, Nevada where I try to return to as often as possible for some fun in the sun!

I use Canon EOS 1d MK 1V camera bodies complete with a comprehensive range of lenses and accessories.  I also use an Olympus Pen E-PL-3 Four Thirds Standard compact camera system body with a range of lenses.  Both manufacturers are my preferred supplier of professional imaging products.
